AI training that comes to your
cohort

Most entrepreneurs in a Starter Company Plus or Community Futures cohort have already tried ChatGPT, and most of them are still using it for one-off questions instead of the quotes, emails and marketing that fill their week.

Our cohort workshop starts with a short questionnaire so we know who's in the room before we arrive, then spends three hands-on hours on each participant's own business, with free-plan options for anyone who hasn't paid for a tool yet. Everyone leaves with a one-page personal AI action plan, and your program gets a session that fits alongside your other business training instead of sitting off to the side.‍

Programs we work with

Compare workshops

We plan sessions with the advisors and program managers who run entrepreneur training, including programs like Starter Company Plus, Summer Company, Digital Main Street and Futurpreneur. Most of them fall into one of these:

  • Small Business Enterprise Centres and business resource centres running cohorts and workshop series

  • Community Futures offices that train loan clients and host business events and summits

  • Incubators, accelerators and chambers of commerce with members at very different stages

Recent work with entrepreneur programs

We've delivered ChatGPT workshops for Starter Company Plus cohorts at the Elgin & St. Thomas Small Business Enterprise Centre, and we work with Community Futures Oxford, the Elgin Business Resource Centre and the Elgin St. Thomas Community Foundation on sessions for the entrepreneurs they support.

“The level of engagement from participants was immediately noticeable. Jason took the time to understand each business in the room and tailored the content accordingly… While AI is not a traditional business topic, this workshop clearly showed how ChatGPT can support business owners across marketing, operations, and financials. It was a valuable and relevant addition to our program series.”

Emily Mason, Senior Business Advisor, Elgin & St. Thomas Small Business Enterprise Centre

“Jason’s ChatGPT workshop for our Starter Company Plus cohort was both engaging and incredibly practical. By the end, everyone walked away with tangible tips they could start using immediately and a clearer understanding of how ChatGPT can support their businesses.”

Jessica Pietens, Business Advisor, Elgin & St. Thomas Small Business Enterprise Centre

      What’s included

      What you get

      • A free discovery call to plan the session with your program staff

      • A short pre-session questionnaire, so we arrive already knowing each participant's business and comfort level

      • Three hours of hands-on practice on participants' own devices and businesses, with free-plan options for every exercise

      • A cheat sheet and a one-page personal AI action plan each participant keeps

      • A 30-minute follow-up call with your program staff within 14 days

      What you bring

      • A laptop or tablet for each participant

      • Your attendee list about a week before the session

      • A room with Wi-Fi and a screen, or a Zoom or Google Meet link

When your cohort is ready to go further

Some programs book one session, and others want a two-part series: an introductory session first, then a deeper 102 session where participants save reusable prompts, build tools around their own brand and turn weekly tasks into shortcuts. Each session is $1,497, and we'll plan the pair with you so the second picks up where the first left off. If one session is all your cohort needs, we'll say so.
      ‍‍

      Ask about a two-part series

What your participants will be able to do

By the end of the session, each participant will be able to:

      1. Turn an email or customer reply they write every week into a reusable prompt

      2. Draft quotes, social posts and marketing copy in their own brand voice

      3. Tell what's safe to put into an AI tool and what has to stay out, especially customer and financial information

      4. Research competitors and sharpen what makes their business different

      5. Leave with a one-page plan for the next tasks they'll hand to AI

      FAQs

Do you offer a rate for funded programs?
Our pricing is the same for everyone: $1,497 per three-hour session for the whole cohort, not per person, so you know the full cost before it goes into your program budget or a funding application.
Can you fit into our existing program schedule?
Yes. We plan each session with your program staff so it lands at the right point in your curriculum, whether that's early on while participants are building their plans or later when they're launching and marketing.
What if our participants are at different levels?
That's normal in most cohorts. The pre-session questionnaire tells us who's brand new to AI and who already uses it, every exercise has a free-plan version, and we pair people up when it helps.
How do you handle privacy and business information?
Part of every session covers what's safe to upload and what should never go into an AI tool, including customer details and financial records, and participants practise with placeholder data until they're comfortable.
Do you offer a two-part series?
Yes. Programs can book an introductory session followed by a deeper 102 session at $1,497 each, planned together so the second builds directly on the first.
Do you work outside Southwestern Ontario?
In person, we cover Southwestern Ontario, including London, St. Thomas and Elgin, Middlesex and Oxford counties, with travel included. Anywhere else in Ontario, we run the same hands-on session online over Zoom or Google Meet.
How big can the cohort be?
We've taught cohorts of 26 people in a single hands-on session. For larger groups, we'll plan the format together on your discovery call so everyone still gets hands-on time.
