Why a workshop works. AI is everywhere, but nobody hands you a manual, and plenty of people feel quietly embarrassed that they should know it by now. You'll get a clear explanation, watch it done on a real example, then try it yourself while someone's there to help. In our experience, that's what makes it stick. People who learn with a guide go home and use it, while people who learn from videos alone mostly don't.

Who these workshops are for. They're built for people who'd rather be shown than read a manual. You'll get the most out of them if you want AI explained in everyday language, you're curious how other owners are using it, you're worried about falling behind, or you learn best from real examples. You don't need any prior knowledge.

What you'll learn. Depending on the session, you'll learn to write prompts that get useful answers, organize your day and projects, turn rough notes into clean drafts or plans, improve your emails and marketing, and hand off the repetitive tasks you'd rather not do yourself. It's AI for people who run businesses, not for coders and engineers.

Workshops run in ChatGPT by default, since it's the tool most people have heard of. Claude, Microsoft Copilot, and NotebookLM versions are available if you ask when you book.
Paid sessions run for half a day at The Atrium in downtown St. Thomas, Ontario or online over Google Meet or Zoom. We also give shorter one- to two-hour talks for business associations and community groups.

A half-day session for owners who are curious about AI but don't know where to start, with no technical background needed. You'll learn what AI can and can't do, how to write prompts that get useful results, how to use it for emails, marketing, and daily admin, and how to avoid the mistakes that waste time. You'll leave with a clear idea of how AI works, a simple plan for your business, and enough confidence to open it up tomorrow and use it on your own.

A half-day session for owners who already use AI and feel like they're only scratching the surface. You'll learn to use AI for deeper research and decision support, organize projects and workflows inside AI tools, connect it to the processes you already run, and build Custom GPTs for your business. You'll leave with a working system for using AI every week, not just on the days you remember it's there.

The most focused way to learn, with a half-day built entirely around you and your business. Before we meet, I'll learn about your business, your tools, and where you feel stuck, so we can go straight to what matters when we sit down. It suits solopreneurs, owners with specific tools or workflows to work through, and anyone who's tried AI alone and wants to see what they're missing. You'll leave with a personal AI plan, a short list of tools and prompts that fit your business, and a next step you can take that same day. Includes a 30-minute follow-up call within 14 days to make sure it's working.

A half-day session for your staff, peers, or cohort, shaped around your industry and the tasks your team does every day. Nonprofits, small business teams, and groups of entrepreneurs all book this one. Common topics include customer communication, operations and admin, marketing, AI for frontline staff, and using AI safely. Everyone leaves with the same understanding and a clear picture of where AI fits in their day.

What makes these workshops different? Most AI training feels like it was written by the software. We teach with warmth, a bit of humour, and examples you'll recognize from your own work. Every session includes step-by-step demonstrations, time to practise on your own device, worksheets you keep, and no judgement if you get stuck.
